IRISH CULTURAL CENTER

Academy of Irish and Celtic Studies Schedule

The Academy of Irish and Celtic Studies will have it's last term of 2004 beginning October 25th. We're very pleased to announce the arrival of three new classes: Harp(Celtic Lever Harp) taught by Chris Boydston, Piano/Keyboard taught by Pat McCrossan, and Beginning Pipe Band Drumming.

The Academy has had an amazing second year thanks to all of the students, instructors, and all of the wonderful people at the Irish Cultural Center.

There will be a Music Academy Recital on October 18th starting at 6PM. This will be the first student recital and will be the kick off to having one at the end of every term. At the end of this recital there will be an open student jam session hosted by the instructors, it will be loads of fun. In the future, on all of the pre-registration nights(usually one Monday before classes start) there will be student jam sessions beginning at 6PM and will be listed on the calendar.

Be sure to check out the new online registration form for the academy, it's beautiful. The pre-registration for this next term is the night of the recital, October 18th. There will be a table set up for registration and someone to help those doing so. If there are any questions or comments about the Academy please email academy@azirish.com , call the Irish Cultural Center at 602-258-0109, or Jerica Leathers at 480-332-0250.
